Being a kid is really tough sometimes.

With the increasing pressure placed on schools to raise academic and learning standards, it leaves little time to focus on the social and emotional skills that are essential to develop resiliency and thrive in life.

Parents have so much responsibility with work, household chores, preparing meals, helping with homework, and shuttling kids to and from practices, games, lessons, and extracurricular activities. Life is so busy for families and it may be hard to find the time for social and emotional learning…not to mention, parents don’t have time to get training in these specific areas and find it overwhelming even trying to figure out where to start.

Life coaching is a lot like athletic coaching — just for all the social and emotional skills kids need to win at life. Just like in athletics, it’s hard to predict how any one child will grow and develop through the process, but life coaching generally results in gains in:

  • Impulse control

  • Confidence

  • Self-esteem

  • Goal-setting

  • Self-awareness

  • Mindfulness

  • Positive self-talk

  • Problem-solving
